James Bond actor Daniel Craig and fellow actress Rachel Weisz secretly wed in New York last Wednesday.

The low-key couple – we didn’t even know they were dating – first went public with their romance in December when they spent Christmas together in the English countryside. Present at the secret mission wedding at a friend’s house in  the state of New York were just four people, Daniel’s daughter Ella (18), Rachel’s four-year-old son Henry and two friends.

A source told the News of the World: “Daniel and Rachel insisted on having a small, quiet wedding. They are madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife – but they wanted minimum fuss. They had a couple of friends as witnesses and their children from previous relationships and that was it.”

That is true love. No need for a big hoo-ha, just the two individuals madly in love with each other and those closest to them. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Craig!
